4. SMS, WhatsApp & Communications Privacy
Transactional Messages: When you provide your phone number and make a reservation, you consent to receive transactional SMS/WhatsApp messages (confirmations, pickup instructions, reminders, payment notices). These are sent to complete your rental.
Promotional Messages: If you check the SMS marketing consent box, we may send promotional offers and new vehicle announcements. You receive no more than 2 promotional messages per month.
Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to opt out of promotional SMS. Transactional messages for active rentals may continue. Reply HELP for support.
Message Rates & Liability: Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier's plan. AP Miami Luxury does not charge additional fees for SMS. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Full SMS terms: SMS Messaging Program Terms.
WhatsApp: We use WhatsApp for customer inquiries and support. Messages are sent via WhatsApp's secure servers.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
No Sharing of Mobile Information: We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
AP MIAMI LUXURY does not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- With trusted service providers who assist in operating our business, subject to confidentiality obligations (including Twilio for SMS/WhatsApp delivery, Stripe for payment processing, and Firebase for data storage)

- Account Data: Retained while account is active; 2 years after account closure
- SMS Opt-Out Lists: Retained for at least 5 years to comply with TCPA requirements and prevent violations
- Chat History (WhatsApp/Web): Retained for 1 year for support and dispute resolution; then deleted or anonymized
- Analytics Logs: Retained for 1 year; then anonymized or deleted
- Payment Records: Retained per PCI-DSS and tax law (up to 7 years)
You may request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to legal hold obligations (e.g., active disputes, traffic violations, unsettled payments). We will delete retained data upon your request where legally permitted.
